Bangladesh Cricket has announced their 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019, which is scheduled to be played in England & Wales starting from May 30. Bangladesh Team will be led by Mashrafe Mortaza, who has led the team in many matches. Mashrafe Mortaza led Bangladesh have added Liton das as backup wicket-keeper with Mushfiqur Rahim as the wicket-keeper. Bangladesh will kickoff their World Cup campaign form June 2, against South Africa.
Earlier, New Zealand announced their 15-man squad, and following them, Australia also named their squad for World Cup 2019. Also, Team India has announced the 15-Man squad led by Virat Kohli. Shakib Al-Hasan will be the deputy captain for Bangladesh in an order to assist Mashrafe Mortaza. Bangladesh has named uncapped right-arm pacer Abu Jayed in their 15-Man squad, as he had just played Test cricket for Bangladesh, that too against New Zealand only.
