England Cricket has named their 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019, which is scheduled to be played from May 30, at England & Wales. England is the fifth team to announce their 15-man squad for the World Cup after New Zealand, Australia, India and Bangladesh. The 15-man squad will be led by Eoin Morgan. England’s squad is the most stronger squad among the other teams, with the favour of home-ground and the home conditions.
England has got some players who are in the form since 2018. Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, Alex Hales, Jason Roy and Joe Root are such players who are going to be tough for the World Cup 2019. England is holding the record of highest-run scored in One Day International against Australia. England scored 481 against Australia during the series in 2018.
Sam Curran was expected to be the part of World Cup squad but in a major blow to the left-arm fast bowler, the name wasn’t listed in the 15-man squad. Meanwhile, his brother Tom Curran has been included in the squad. The squad is overall looking balanced with some in-form bowlers, batsmen and the fielders.
