ICC World Cup 2019, England & Wales: Pakistan Cricket Board has announced 23 probables for World Cup 2019. PCB in a media statement said that they have called up 23 players to attend the fitness test for Cricket World Cup 2019. Pakistan will announce their 15-member squad on April 18. These probable 23 players will give their fitness test at National Cricket Academy in Lahore on 15 and 16 April, 2019. Further on, the selected 15-member squad will head towards England on April 23.
As per schedule of ICC World Cup 2019, Pakistan will play a warm-up match against Afghanistan on May 24 and Bangladesh on May 26, before an opening match against West Indies on May 31, 2019. Wahab Riaz, Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad failed to find a spot in probable 23 ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019 at England & Wales. Pakistan will leave for England on April 23 because of an five match ODI series against the hosts of ICC World Cup 2019 at England & Wales.

Earlier, New Zealand on Monday, April 02, 2019 announced the official 15-man squad for the World Cup being the first team to submit their ODI Squad for the tournament. The ICC World Cup 2019 will be held in England and Wales from May 30, 2019.
