Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore in a must-win match. Now, Points table IPL are quite clear after Rajasthan Royals made their way out of the race to the playoffs. Now, there will be three teams, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab who are in the race. Sunrisers Hyderabad are at fourth position in the points table, whereas Kolkata Knight Riders are at fifth position and yet to play a match. Likewise, Kings XI Punjab are having their one match left, bug currently they are at last position in the points table IPL.
Kings XI Punjab lost the previous match against Kolkata Knight Riders, but will lock horns with Chennai Super Kings in the last match of IPL League matches. This match is a do-or-die match for KXIP to keep the hope alive in Points Table IPL. On the other side, Kolkata Knight Riders will play their last very match of the league table, against Mumbai Indians.
MI have already qualified for the playoffs, but will look ahead to get the second position back in Points table IPL.
Now, the question is, who has the chance? Well! Sunrisers Hyderabad definitely has an upper hand than the Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab to get fourth position in Points Table IPL to get into the playoffs. If both Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders won their last matches, then also it will be Net Run Rate, which will decide the fate of the teams. Since SRH has the most NRR of +0.577, they have more chance. Meanwhile, KKR have +0.173 and KXIP having -0.351. That means, of both KKR and KXIP are keen to find victory, then it should be with huge margin.
