The match betwen Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore was scheduled to be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, which witnessed the raining boundaries. David Warner though started slow but finished in his own way. The team scored 231/2, the highest in the Indian Premier League season 12. David Warner received the Orange Cap (most runs in the IPL 12), which was on the head of Andre Russell yesterday. Jonny Bairstow loved the way he batted here on the Hyderabad ground. He said after the innings that he felt great playing here, it was fantastic pitch out there.

Adding on, he said that he is not sure if he is superman, but he surely was cooking (laughingly). While on the other side, David Warner speaks over his comeback and says, Wow, I think I the 12 months have done me well – I think I am refreshed. Meanwhile, both lauded the inning, batting and especially the partnership. The best thing happened with Orange Army that the pressure they mounted with the target of 232, helped them to get early wickets. Especially, Afghani bowler, M Nabi, who took 4-wicket haul by giving just 11 runs in his 4 overs. He sent Parthiv Patel, Shemron Hetmyer, AB De Villiers and Shivam Dube to the pavilion, with some great piece of bowling. In result, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore.
