Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is an American rally which is held annually in Sturgis, South Dakota, for almost ten days, which starts form the first Friday in August. The American motorcycle rally was first started in 1938 by an Indian Motorcycle riders, which was basically held for stunts and races. The Jackpine Gypsies motorcycle club started the first Sturgis rally by Indian Motorcycle riders on August 14, 1938. Also, Jackpine Gypsies were inducted to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1997.
