It has been one year since Thaana Serndha Kootam starring Suriya hit the screens. The actor was busy with shooting of two films which are currently under post-production Selvaraghanavan’s NGK and KV Anand’s Kaappaan. Suriya’s both movies are expected to hit the big screens in coming months. Earlier, there were speculations that Suriya have joined hands with Sudha Kongara Prasad ahead of the new project. The untitled movie has begun the shoot after a grand customary Pooja.

As per reports, Suriya and Sudha Kongara Prasad’s new project is said to be a biopic on Air Deccan Founder Captain Gopinath. Along with Suriya, Aparna Balamurali has been rpoed in as the female lead actress. Aparna was last seen in Rajiv Menon’s Sarvam Thaala Mayam. Suriya is set to play the character of Goipnath, while Aparna will play the role of Suriya’s wife as Bhargavi Goipnath, IndiaToday reported. Meanwhile, Actors Arjunan, Kaali Venkat and Vivek Prasanna will give company to Surya and Aparna as supporting cast.
The film is produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment and Oscar Winner Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment. Likewise, the technical squad has got GV Prakash as composer, Niketh Bommireddy as Cinematographer, Sathish Surya and Poornima Ramaswamya as Costume Designer. Composer GV Prakash is working with Thaikudam Bridge from Kerala, reveled in GV Prakash’s twiiter post.
